The TC-S Network represents the core protocol layer of The Current-See's implementation, built on three principles: decentralized yet governed, energy-efficient, and socially scalable.
Network Architecture
Unlike proof-of-work systems, TC-S uses a modified Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus that relies on elected validators who themselves stake Solar tokens. Validation is energy-conscious and includes verification that transactions meet energy equivalency requirements.
The network comprises three node types:
- Validator nodes that confirm transactions
- Solar measurement nodes that feed real-time energy data
- Wallet nodes that interact with end users
Implementation Timeline
Phased Rollout Plan
Phase 1: Prototype (Now - December 2025)
Limited testnet with centralized issuance, SolarSpender app, and controlled environment testing.
Phase 2: Alpha Network (January 2026 - June 2026)
Public testnet with 100,000 wallets, real Solar issuance (reduced rates), and beta AI wallet.
Phase 3: Beta Network (July 2026 - December 2026)
Expanded public network with 1 million wallets, merchant onboarding, and utility partners.
Phase 4: Full Launch (January 2027)
Global network, full Solar issuance, complete decentralization of validation.
The TC-S Network represents our commitment to creating an infrastructure that aligns economic incentives with planetary well-being.
